COVID-19'dan kurtulan Derya hemşire iyileşip görevine koştu

İzmir'de, yeni tip Coronavirüs (COVID-19) tanısı konulan ve çalıştığı hastanede tedavi olan hemşire Derya Kadifeli, karantina süresini tamamlamasının ardından izin kullanmadan görevine döndü.

Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi İzmir Dr. Suat Seren Göğüs Hastalıkları ve Cerrahisi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde çalışan Kadifeli'ye 25 Mart'ta COVID-19 tanısı konuldu.

Görev yaptığı hastanede 5 gün tedavi gören Kadifeli, daha sonra evinde karantina altına alındı. Karantina süresinin tamamlanmasının ardından yapılan testlerde COVID-19'u yendiği anlaşılan Kadifeli, izin kullanmadan görevine döndü. 

"TEK MUTSUZLUĞUM ÇOK SEVDİĞİM MESLEĞİMİ YAPAMAMAK OLDU"

Hemşire Derya Kadifeli, AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, COVID-19 teşhisinin konulduğu gün, çevresine virüsü bulaştırmış olmaktan endişelendiğini belirtti. 

Yaklaşık 8 yıldır görev yaptığı serviste hasta olarak tedavi görmenin kendisine çok farklı duygular yaşattığını dile getiren Kadifeli, "Tedavi görürken sağlığına kavuşan hastalar beni çok mutlu etmişti. Hem bir hasta hem bir hemşire olarak çok sevinmiştim. Tek mutsuzluğum ise çok sevdiğim mesleğimi yapamamaktı." dedi.

Tedavi ve karantina sürecinde ailesi ile meslektaşlarının kendisini bir an bile yalnız bırakmadığını belirten Kadifeli, bu süreçte kendisini en çok üzen şeyin ise meslektaşlarının ölüm haberleri olduğunu dile söyledi.

"ARKADAŞLARIM İSTİRAHAT ETMEMİ ÖNERDİ"

Görev yaptığı hastanede COVID-19 hastalığına yakalanan ilk sağlık çalışanı olduğunu kaydeden Kadifeli, şöyle devam etti:

"Arkadaşlarım sağlık sürecimi yakından takip etti. Sağlığıma kavuşmamın ardından arkadaşlarım istirahat etmemi önerdi ama ben hem onlara hem de aynı serviste tedavi gören hastalarıma moral kaynağı olmak için hemen görevime dönme kararı aldım. Görevime büyük bir sevinçle döndüm. Sağlık Bakanlığı tarafından gerekli kişisel ekipmanlar verildiği için aynı serviste çalışmaktan korkmuyorum. COVID-19 tanısı almama rağmen dünyaya yeniden gelsem yine hemşire olmayı isterdim." 

Kadifeli, COVID-19 hastaları için plazma bağışında bulunacağını belirtti. 

Coronavirüsten korunmanın en önemli yolunun vatandaşların evde kalması olduğunu ifade eden Kadifeli, "Vatandaşların mecbur kalmadıkça dışarıya çıkmalarını istemiyoruz. Onlar fedakar sağlık çalışanları için evde kalmalı. Elbet bu zor günler de geçecek ama şimdi sosyal izolasyon kurallarını uygulayarak evde kalma zamanı." şeklinde konuştu.
