Avrupa ülkelerinde bir süredir devam eden ilaç temini sıkıntısı sürüyor, özellikle antibiyotikler, çocuklar için öksürük şurubu ve ateş düşürücüler ile tansiyon ilaçlarının bulunmasında sorun olduğu belirtiliyor.

Avrupa Birliği (AB) Eczacılık Grubu (PGEU) adlı kuruluşun AB ülkelerinin yanı sıra Türkiye, Norveç, Kosova ve Kuzey Makedonya'yı kapsayan 29 ülkedeki eczanelerle 14 Kasım-31 Aralık döneminde yaptığı çalışmanın sonucu yayımlandı.

Buna göre, bu ülkelerin dörtte birinde 600'den fazla, beşte birinde ise yaklaşık 300 ilaç zor bulunuyor. Avrupa ülkelerinin dörtte üçündeki eczanelerde ise ilaç sıkıntısı bir yıl öncesine göre çok daha kötü durumda.

Avrupa ülkelerinin sağlık ve ilaç konusundaki yetkili makamlarının verileri de eczacıların bildirimlerini destekliyor.

Örneğin, Belçika'da yaklaşık 300 kalem ilacın, Almanya'da 408, Avusturya'da ise 600'den fazla ilacın temininde sorunlar bulunduğu ifade edildi. İtalya'da ise durumun daha vahim olduğu, bazısı aynı formüle sahip farklı ilaçlar olmak üzere 3 binden fazla ilacın çok zor bulunduğu bildirildi.

Avrupa genelindeki eczanelerde en zor temin edilen ilaçların ise solunum yolu enfeksiyonlarının tedavisinde kullanılan özellikle amoksisilin grubu antibiyotikler, çocuk hastalıklarının tedavisinde kullanılan öksürük şurupları ve şurup formundaki parasetamol ile bazı tansiyon ilaçları olduğu belirtildi.

İlaç sorununun nedeni ise artan talebe karşın arzdaki düşüş olarak gösteriliyor.

Avrupa ülkelerinde bu yıl başta grip ve solunum sinsityal virüsü (RSV) olmak üzere mevsimsel enfeksiyonların erken başladığı ve normalden güçlü seyrettiği, çocuklarda Strep A kaynaklı boğaz enfeksiyonunun sıra dışı şekilde yaygın görüldüğü belirtiliyor.

Uzmanlar, Kovid-19 salgınında uzun süren kapanmalar nedeniyle normalde günlük hayatta alınan çeşitli virüslerin alınamadığı için bağışıklık sistemlerinin güçlenememesini bu kış artan hastalıkların sebebi olarak görüyor. İlaç üreticilerinin de artan enfeksiyonlar karşısında yüksek seyreden talebe hazırlıksız yakalandığı, Avrupa'daki enerji krizi ile artan ham madde fiyatlarının üretimi etkilediği ifade ediliyor.
