Ağrı kesici ilaçların fazla kullanımı böbrek rahatsızlıklarına neden olabiliyor

Trakya Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Sedat Üstündağ, ağrı kesici ilaçların aşırı kullanımının böbrek yapısını bozarak böbrek yetersizliğine neden olduğunu söyledi.

Trakya Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Sedat Üstündağ,  AA muhabirine, diyaliz tedavisi ya da nakil olmazsa hayatını kaybetme riski bulunan hasta sayısının Türkiye'de her geçen gün arttığını ifade etti.

Böbrek yetersizliğinin dünya genelinde en çok artan ülkelerden birinin Türkiye olduğuna dikkat çeken Üstündağ, "1990'lı yılların sonunda Türkiye'de son dönem böbrek hastası, yani diyaliz veya nakil olmazsa yaşamayacak durumda olan hastaların sayısı 1 milyonda yaklaşık 300-350 kişiydi. Günümüzde son rakamalar 1 milyonda 1000 civarında. 20 yıllık dönemde Türkiye'de son dönem böbrek hastalığı, nakil ve diyaliz olmazsa yaşamını sürdüremeyecek hastaların oranı 3 kat artmış oldu." dedi.

Üstündağ, böbrek hastalığının ölüme yol açma konusunda pek çok kanser türünden daha ağır sonuçlar doğurduğunu, böbrek yetersizliğinin birçok sebebinin bulunduğunu belirtti.

Yaşam kalitesini bozan önemli hastalıklar için risk faktörü olan obezitenin böbrek hastalığının gelişiminde önemli bir etken olduğuna değinen Üstündağ, "Kilo fazlalığı tek başına böbreği bozucu bir faktördür. Hareketsiz yaşamın artışı ve işlenmiş hazır gıdalarla beslenmenin artışı obeziteyi beraberinde getiriyor." diye konuştu.

"Ağrı kesiciler böbreği olumsuz etkiliyor"

Prof. Dr. Üstündağ, ağrı kesicilerin birçoğunun da böbreği olumsuz etkilediğini, kadınların daha sık ağrı kesici kullandığına dikkat çekti.

Ağrı kesicilerin bilinçsiz ve kontrolsüz şekilde tüketildiğini ve durumun hastalarda böbrek yetersizliğinin gelişmesine neden olduğunu aktaran Üstündağ, şunları kaydetti:

Ağrı kesicilerin pek çoğu böbreğe dokunuyor. Ağrı kesicilerin fazla kullanılması böbrek yapısını bozuyor. Bir insan hayatı boyunca bir kilogram ağrı kesici tüketirse onun böbrekleri muhakkak belli bir derecede bozulur. Eğer 2-3 kilogram ağrı kesici ilaç tüketirse, bu hastalarda son dönem böbrek hastalığı görmek mümkün olur. Bu hastalar yaşama tutunmak için nakil veya diyaliz tedavisi görmek zorunda kalır. Ortalama bir ağrı kesicinin yarım gram olduğunu düşünürsek, günde bir tane kullanıldığında yılda yaklaşık 200 gram kullanılmış oluyor. Kullanmaya devam edildiğinde 5 sene sonra muhakkak böbreğinizi bozmuş oluyorsunuz. Bizim ülkemizde komşu tavsiyesiyle, arkadaş önerisiyle ağrı kesici kullanımları böbrek hastalığının çok önemli nedeni. Örneğin bir hastanın hipertansiyon nedeniyle enseden başlayıp omuzlara yayılan ağrısı var, bu hastalık tedavi edileceğine ağrı kesici kullanılırsa böbrekler zarar görüyor. Kemik ağrıları olan bir kişi bu hastalığı tedavi etmek yerine ağrı kesici kullanırsa, var olan hastalığın üzerine yeni bir hastalık eklemiş oluyor."

Üstündağ, böbrek nefronlarının gelişiminin anne karnında tamamlandığını, doğumdan sonra böbreklerde yeni bir nefron üremediğini, anne ve çocuk açısından hayati tehlike olmadığı halde zamanından erken yapılan sezaryen doğumların, bebeklerin böbrek gelişimini etkilediğini, bu durumun ileriki yaşlarda böbrek yetersizliğine neden olabildiğini de sözlerine ekledi.

The collapse of a crucial network of Atlantic Ocean currents could push parts of the world into a deep freeze, with winter temperatures plunging to around minus 55 degrees Fahrenheit in some cities, bringing “profound climate and societal impacts,” according to a new study.

There is increasing concern about the future of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation — known as the AMOC — a system of currents that works like a giant conveyor belt, pulling warm water from the Southern Hemisphere and tropics to the Northern Hemisphere, where it cools, sinks and flows back south.

Multiple studies suggest the AMOC is weakening with some projecting it could even collapse this century as global warming disrupts the balance of heat and salinity that keeps it moving. This would usher in huge global weather and climate shifts — including plunging temperatures in Europe, which relies on the AMOC for its mild climate.

What’s less clear, however, is how these impacts will unfold in a world heated up by humans burning fossil fuels.

“What if the AMOC collapses and we have climate change? Does the cooling win or does the warming win?” asked Rene van Westen, a marine and atmospheric researcher at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and co-author of the paper published Wednesday in the Geophysical Research Letters journal.

This new study is the first to use a modern, complex climate model to answer the question, he told CNN.
The researchers looked at a scenario where the AMOC weakens by 80% and the Earth is around 2 degrees Celsius warmer than the period before humans began burning large amounts of fossil fuels. The planet is currently at 1.2 degrees of warming.

They focused on what would happen as the climate stabilized post-collapse, multiple decades into the future.

Even in this hotter world, they found “substantial cooling” over Europe with sharp drops in average winter temperatures and more intense cold extremes — a very different picture than the United States, where the study found temperatures would continue to increase even with an AMOC collapse.

Sea ice would spread southward as far as Scandinavia, parts of the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, the research found. This would have a huge impact on cold extremes as the white surface of the ice reflects the sun’s energy back into space, amplifying cooling.

The scientists have created an interactive map to visualize the impacts of an AMOC collapse across the globe.

Apres plusieurs semaines de campagne, difficile de savoir qui de Bruno Retailleau ou Laurent Wauquiez remportera la presidence du parti Les Republicains (LR). Les adherents du parti de droite sont invites a les departager, samedi 17 et dimanche 18 mai, pour choisir celui qui incarnera desormais LR, avec en toile de fond l’election presidentielle de 2027.
